A dog was starved by his owner to the point of almost dying. Everything only ended when the neighbors could not stand this cruel behavior and reported the information to the rescue team. Immediately, we moved to the spot and rescued the dog.

The identity of the cruel man who is his master will be kept hidden from us for the sake of humanity. But these cruel acts deserve condemnation. It’s unknown how long the dog had been starved; when we found him, he had almost no strength left. All body hair is used up, all muscle and fat on the body are gone. It was so thin that it was just a bunch of bones with a tired look. The dog walked unsteadily, and even a light breeze made him tremble to the point of collapsing.

My heart broke into pieces when I saw this pitiful scene. Truly cruel and inhumane, why would you treat a loyal animal like that? Even though he has a painful and weak body, he actually has a very warm heart. From deep within those blue eyes as deep as the ocean, I felt the dog’s desire to live.

Even though he was mistreated, he did not hate humans at all. On the contrary, the dog seemed very friendly and gentle when we arrived. He looked at us and started crying without saying a word. “It’s okay, it’s okay, you’ll be fine, we’ll save you, I promise,” I reassured him.

Immediately, I picked up the dog and brought him to the cage prepared in the car. Even though I knew he was very skinny, I still didn’t expect him to be so light, only weighing about 2 kilograms. We were a little worried about whether we could save his life due to his poor health symptoms, but the rescue team will try their best and do everything to help him. “May God give him the strength to overcome all this pain and difficulty,” I prayed silently.

We brought him to the veterinary hospital immediately after. Currently, the dog is receiving special treatment and being cared for in a private room. We are hopeful that with proper care and love, he will recover and find a forever home where he will never suffer again.
