She’s Like A Scared Child Running Away From The City Due To Her Looks, They Scared Her

In the unforgiving streets of the city, Yellow had no refuge. Even the stones that were thrown at her only deepened her fear, leaving her to wander alone, unsure where to turn. Her scaly skin bore the painful scars of a life spent in struggle, and every step she took was marked by the trauma of her past.

When I first saw her, she was trembling, a small, broken figure in the chaos of the city. As I approached, she cowered, her eyes wide with fear. It was clear that trust had been stolen from her long ago, and any gesture of kindness was met with suspicion. Despite my gentle attempts to comfort her, she remained distant, as though she had forgotten what it was like to be safe.

Her skin condition was severe, and treatment was a long and difficult process. The scars on her body were not just physical—they reflected the deep emotional wounds she carried. But with time and care, her body began to heal, though her heart was still guarded, her every movement laced with anxiety.

As the days passed, Yellow found solace in the quiet comfort of the couch I had placed for her. It became her sanctuary, a place where she could rest without fear, a symbol of the safety she had never known. At first, she was reluctant to leave its protective boundaries, but with each passing day, her trust in me grew. I watched as her eyes softened, and her once-guarded posture slowly gave way to tentative curiosity.

One small step led to another. She began to explore the space around her, her fear slowly giving way to playfulness. The hesitant, trembling dog that had once flinched at every sound now wagged her tail, inviting me to join in her games. It was as if she had discovered a new world—one where love and comfort were real.

After weeks of patience and care, Yellow was no longer the frightened dog I had first encountered. Her transformation was nothing short of miraculous. With her head held high and her body strong, she walked out into the world, no longer the broken soul of the past. Yellow had embraced her second chance, a living testament to the power of compassion, resilience, and love.
