Heartless People Tied A Wire Around Her Neck And Dumped Her On The Street, Long Time No One Help!

I received a call reporting a poor dog; some monster had tied a wire around her neck. She passed by thousands of people on a busy street, and, of course, no one paid any attention to her. The lady who sent me her photos cried like a baby! The tight wire had deeply sunk into her neck. We rushed to catch her and drove fast to the vet. She was very weak and helpless. I had no words for all of this anymore. This was the saddest and worst thing I had seen so far.

The wire wasn’t just tied around her neck; it had penetrated through the skin and was tied at the end. How someone did this and how heartless they could have been, I don’t know. The operation was successful, and our girl is awake. She got a beautiful name: Felicity! She is so gentle and good that I can’t express how sorry I am for the betrayal she experienced by humans, how sorry I am that she believed the wrong people.

The operation was long and very complicated because her skin had thickened. On Day 1, she was a little better; the swelling on her head had gone down slightly, which was a good sign. She was still very unwell and had a long way to go. It was still unsure if she would make it with the huge injuries she was suffering, but I believed in her. Her look was super sad, and even though she was in a lot of pain, she had a fighting spirit.

By Day 2, good morning from Felicity! It was still a bit early to be too excited, but the swelling was smaller, and she was eating. The neck wound looked good. By Day 4, our dear Felicity, who had survived the real hell of life, was getting better and better every day. Trust in people was gradually coming back, and her wound on the neck was much better. The vet sanitized the wound twice a day. She was still under strong antibiotics and analgesics.

By Day 7, I was so proud of our girl Felicity! She was looking so much better. I loved her a lot. I was with her now, and her recovery was amazing. She was having her stitches removed in a week. By Day 23, look who had amazingly recovered! Our dear and sweet Felicity! And she wanted to thank you all a lot for helping her out. She gained a few kilos; she needed more, but it was a process.

The best news was that our Felicity got a home! Yeah, yeah, I know all of you will be happy for her. Felicity is now in her home in Germany. Thank you, my Heike Fetzer and Susanne Griszkat, so much! And to all of you, my friends, who helped Felicity when she was rescued! Our dear girl Felicity enjoys her forever home in Germany!
