Life can be very difficult for stray dogs, some of whom have had such traumatic experiences that they find it hard to trust people. When they encounter others, they may become very afraid and unwilling to believe that they won’t be hurt. This is a truly sad situation because all animals deserve love and care. Luckily, there are many compassionate individuals and organizations out there who are dedicated to rescuing and caring for needy animals.

Amber, a petite pooch, was dealt a tough hand by life. Her world was turned upside down when her owner passed away, leaving her feeling lost and alone. The forlorn canine had to fend for herself in the deserted home for several months.

Amber had a hard time trusting people due to her past experiences when Howl Of A Dog came to help her out. The rescue team was alerted after they discovered the dog living in an abandoned house’s yard. Amber was too scared to approach them, but the rescuers from Howl Of A Dog were determined not to give up.

They were determined to save Amber and after some effort, they successfully brought the 3-year-old dog inside the house and secured her.

When Amber was discovered, her condition was very poor. Her fur was infested with ticks and she had contracted Babesiosis. Fortunately, she was taken in by caring individuals who provided her with the necessary medical attention.
