As many of us know from TV, dogs and cats are often portrayed as ‘ᴇɴᴇᴍɪᴇs’. However, this Husky from Tᴇxᴀs recently found her best friend, and surprisingly enough, it is a tabby cat. Christina always wanted both a dog and a cat that she could ʀᴀɪsᴇ together. So, she took her Tamaskan Husky, Raven, to pick out a cat for herself. They went to the shelter with their puppy and let her help them adopt a new kitty. This is what happened when they let their puppy choose a furiend.
Seemingly, Christina knew that she had to let Raven select her cat, so she could be sure that the two animals would get along. So, one day she took Raven to an animal shelter in Lubbock, Tᴇxᴀs. When they arrived at the shelter, Raven found herself in the company of four cats. Out of all of the cats, a cute tabby named Woodhouse was the only one who interacted with Raven. Christina said: “(I) took the puppy to the shelter and showed her four kittens. These two instantly hit it off. Easy decision on my part. I’ve had cats all my life. Got to a point where I was able to get a puppy and kitten at the same time. My life goal is complete! The pup is Raven and the little hairball is Woodhouse. He thinks he’s people.”
Delighted, Christina recognized the pair’s instant ᴄᴏɴɴᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴ. On that day, they all went home together, and Christina and Raven have welcomed Woodhouse as the newest addition to their family. They’ve had the kitten for two weeks and the puppy loves to ɴɪʙʙʟᴇ on his ᴇᴀʀs. It’s her way of giving kisses, and the kitten keeps running back for more. From that day on, Raven and Woodhouse did everything together. They’re what friendship goals are all about. The two cuddle, play, and eat together, and they even share their food and toys. Christina said: “They bring a lot of joy into my life. I just recently moved nine hours away from all my family so having these two has definitely helped.”
Woodhouse doesn’t care that Raven is larger than her because she is ꜰᴇᴀʀʟᴇss, and she always chases Raven around the house. Since they met, they have been completely inseparable.
