According to reports, Spartacus made a run for it after encountering the family dog. The cat’s owner stated that the dog didn’t want to come inside and when his wife opened the front door, the cat and dog had a scare which led to Spartacus running away. Despite the family’s efforts to find Spartacus in the woods near their home, the feline was nowhere to be found. The police were notified about the missing cat but the search posed a challenge since the authorities were unsure of what exactly to look for.

The Daily Mail reported that it was quite challenging for the officers to search for the cat as they were unaware of what to look for. Animal control officer Haylie Gulino from Merrimack stated that she had to show them a picture of the typical appearance of the cat. This situation was unusual, and most people were not familiar with it. After three days, they finally discovered the cat near its residence.

Spartacus, the serval cat, has been found safe and sound after spending three days in the New Hampshire wilderness. The Merrimack Police Department announced through their Facebook page that the missing cat was finally trapped near its home and is now reunited with its owner.
