Unfortunately, some people return pets to shelters for many reasons such as the elderly, but I have never heard of owners returning a dog to the shelter because he wanted to sleep in bed with them. This is exactly what happened with Twinkle, a Chihuahua mix, who was returned to the shelter after being adopted for 4 months!

Before Twinkle was adopted, she was found desperate for help on the streets of Miami. She had severe dental problems, mammary tumors, and a horrible skin infection that caused her to lose most of her fur. Twinkle, who weighed just 3.5 pounds, was treated for her medical issues and was adopted by a couple.

Unfortunately, they took her back to the shelter where she slept in bed with them. The poor dog is now looking for a forever home with her owners who let her sleep in bed with them. We hope she soon finds the forever home she deserves to spend her golden years in. Watch the video below.
