A call came into the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department about a homeless dog who appeared “sick and old” on a rural property.
So, an officer went to the scene to get help. Once there, he checked if the dog was microchipped and found that her name was Zoey, and that she had been missing for twelve years from her owners who lived in Lafayette, California.
So they called her mom, Michelle, who couldn’t believe the news! So, they set up a meeting to pick the dog up again after a full 12 years! The reunion was so emotional! The dog is now back in her family to live with her 13 year old brother! How wonderful! Watch the video below.
