This story is about Larry Pettit, an Air Force veteran, who has a support dog, Sandy, who helps him with PTSD and depression.
Unfortunately, one day, Larry had a major car accident and had to go to the ICU after that, so he took his dog to a neighbor who promised to take care of her. When Larry was released from the hospital, he went straight to his neighbor to pick up his 8-year-old Labrador retriever, but the woman told him she had to leave him at a dog park because she had to catch a plane.
This caused Larry to panic and offer a $500 reward to anyone who could help him locate Sandy. Fortunately, after 22 days of searching, Sandy was found and reunited with her owner. What a reunion! Watch the video below.
