Julie Docherty was reluctant to turn away a pet immediately after moving to Los Angeles. It was a huge time commitment, and she was still adjusting to her new surroundings, so she volunteered to walk the dogs at a nearby shelter instead. During her first visit to the shelter, she fell in love with Momo, an 11-year-old Chihuahua, and ended up adopting him!
She decided to take three larger Chihuahuas after discovering that dogs have several large pets. The four Jolly Chihuahuas (Benito, Momo, Cholly, and Paloma) are impeccable despite the fact that none of them has a single tooth!
The quartet works like a big dog club, doing everything together. This beautiful Chihuahua pack lives out their golden years like kings and queens, from sunbathing to snoozing together!
Julie began to receive elderly puppies to help them spend their golden years in a house forever. What a beautiful person!
