Thankfully, Valerie Schomburg, a dedicated member of the NBAC, secured funding for a crucial surgery. Thankfully, despite its concerning size, the tumor wasn’t cancerous.
The surgery was a success. With the weight literally lifted from his shoulders, Henry, now a lighter 78 pounds, could finally move with ease. He recovered in a loving foster home provided by the Newport Beach Animal Shelter, eagerly making up for lost time with cuddles and playtime.
