We got another ‘hit by a car’ case. when we reached there, we found him, unable to move from the spot where he’d been lying for a couple of days. people saw him and left him, no help, no food or water.
When we approached, he tried his best to show his friendly, that shows no doubt he had once owned as a pet. but when he got older, somehow they kicked him out. and unluckily got hit by a car, who also ran away, left him lay weak, vulnerable, in pain and invisible to many.
We immediately got him to our vet and did the X-rays. found out he’s suffering some disc damage to his spine.
We took him back to the shelter with treatment for trauma to his old legs, adjust and heal in an incorrect position along with pain relief, we also put him on CBD oil, that we have used for many of our recovering doggies. even with love from our center, he still scared of walking. his appetize still good for the old dog, but not too old.
it’s our amazement seeing him play with us everyday. also take him out under sun to make him feel better.
Charlies got adopted into his new forever home. he loves to play outside a lot. his favorite spot. We visited him after a year and surprisingly he’s still remember us. Here is how he approached us with love.
