Every dog and cat deserves a loving home and a second chance at life.

Unfortunately, due to lack of space, young and old creatures are dumped into overcrowded shelters.

Meet Mocha, a 1-year-old pit bull mix left at the Rowan County Animal Shelter in Salisbury, North Carolina. She was abandoned by her heartless owner with another dog through no fault of her own. Mocha was given until November 1st to be adopted, or else she would be executed.

An anxious dog would purr in her crate, and potential adopters would walk alongside her. When she arrived, she was terrified and covered in fleas. One of the workers at the shelter, Albina Albie Chanel, wanted to show Moka that not all people are bad. She has wanted to give Mocha a chance to find a family since Mocha’s predicament broke her.

“You know, we deal with human cruelty and depravity on a daily basis. This beautiful young woman has crushed my heart. At that point, the landlord gives in. She is a skeleton, covered in fleas, trembling uncontrollably and refusing to stand and walk. Talk about a broken soul. I despise humanity in some The days. Keep your head up Mocha. “I’ve seen a lot of cruelty in the one year of her existence,” Albina wrote.

I decided to write a message from Mocha and post it on Facebook. He said, “Dear humans, as I sit here on death row utterly defeated, I hope at least my dogs have a better life than I have. Sitting here, I’m so scared just waiting to be euthanized. You see, I’m only a year old. I haven’t had a good life.” Absolutely .. “

She added, “I shiver so badly in my kennel that people go by me. I can’t help it. People haven’t been good to me. Despite being relatively skinny, I love to eat. Today I tried to be brave with my shots, but I I couldn’t even stand it up.But I made an attempt, and I think the females who were with me witnessed it. Later, I had the courage to indulge in a treat.

“The owner has delivered me and my friend to the shelter. Please consider adopting me and giving me a chance at a good life,” the tragic letter reads. But you have to realize that since I’m so nervous, it might take me a while to warm up. Where can you find me?

Albina sent a message to Mocha on her own after saving her. She wrote, “Dear Mocha, I sat down with you and wrote a letter for all to see. In fact, that’s what they did. Enjoy your second chance sweet girl. I hope you get the love and attention you deserve for the rest of your life.”
