A 1-year-old dog was finally spotted on a busy highway by a good Samaritan after several people passed him!
The Siberian husky, Miracle, was placed in the kind woman’s car, who then drove her to the animal shelter in San Bernardino, California.
That’s when shelter volunteer Andrea Neisse shared Miracle’s story on Facebook, with a caption saying the dog had been neglected for some time, and was also suffering from a terrible skin condition.
The story was seen by Leave No Paws Behind Rescue, which decided to help the dog because she truly needed help. They also knew that the dog would be killed if she did not survive!
Fortunately, the dog was taken from Leave No Paws Behind Rescue, who took her directly to The Pet Doctors of Sherman Oaks to receive the care she needed, both medically and emotionally.
After examining her blood, they discovered that there was protein in her urine, and that she was suffering from malnutrition and anemia. Despite her bad condition, she still wags her tail at everyone she meets. The doctors also said that they were completely confident that the miracle would work. We all hope so.
